Waresley Cricket Club has been established since at least 1882 and currently has three senior teams and four colts sides. On Saturdays in 2008, The 1st XI will be competing in Division Two of the Tucker Gardner Huntingdonshire & Cambridgeshire Premier League, while the 2nd XI will be competing in Hunts County League Division Two. Sunday cricket consists of the Sunday 1st XI playing in the Bedfordshire County League for the first time, with the club's 3rd XI competing in the Bedfordshire County Development League. All teams compete in various cup competitions - These include the prestigious National Village and Smith-Barry Junior Cup competitions.

Because of clashes with the Hunts County Board AGM & the Beds AGM, Waresley CC's 2008 AGM will now be held at the Pavilion at 8pm on WEDNESDAY 3 DECEMBER.

I write my report on a wet Sunday my trip yesterday to Rochdale gave me lots of time to think about our summer game and our Sunday League. I'm sure we provide a competitive League with the teams in it
